SPIRITUAL FORMATION

Growing in Faith, Hope, and Love Together

Bible Study

When: Every sunday at 11:45 am

God knows that human beings love a good story. Perhaps that’s why God’s holy Word, the Bible, comes to us as a collection of stories. Although written long before our time, these stories still speak to us today, speaking to us peace and comfort while also leaving space for longing and lament.

The focus of each Bible study is the scriptural passage that was read in the morning’s worship service. Click on the link for upcoming readings below.

Nov. 24: Revelation 1:1-8

Tea-ology Book Club

When: Advent 2024

The Tea-ology Book Club discusses accessible theological books written for regular folk, not scholars and seminary students. Topics include things like the Lord’s Prayer, the Holy Spirit, and making sense of God’s will.

Last spring we read Life of the Beloved by Henri Nouwen. Our next book, which we’ll read later this fall, will be announced shortly.

“In the church of Jesus Christ there can and should be no non-theologians.” —Karl Barth
